Not sure about this but in the Feb 1962 Brian HOLLOWAY (CBE, QPM, PLS&GC Medal) was in charge of the police detachment at Hahahis (Little Buka, Bougainville) during the insurrection of the "baby farm" anti-Council riots led by John Teosin and  defrocked former Catholic priest Francis Hagai. (Bogai?)

Baby farming was a form of cargo cultism.

Hahalis Baby Farm incident might be covered in a book called 'The Hot Land' by PNG-resident John Laurel Ryan, a former employee of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) although I have not been able to track this down.

For those of you that wish to know more about Cargo Cults there are several books. One that comes to mind is Road Belong Cargo by Peter Lawrence  http://www.amazon.com/Road-Belong-Cargo-Movement-Southern/dp/0881334588
