When did Bugandi High School start?

Bugandi High School in Morobe province was built in 1959.  This required ten acres of rainforest to be cleared so that two classrooms, a dormitory, two houses and a mess could be built.  The first classes commenced in January 1960.

The school succeeded largely thanks to the tireless work of Henry Robert Jack AMESBURY (often known as "Bugandi Jack").
