What are the drugs used to treat malaria?

Chloroquine, Fansidar, Artesunate / Artemether and Primaquine are the porimary drugs. These drugs are dangerous and should only be taken under medical supervision.  No drug or combination of drugs is completely effective in all people.

Please remember to consult a doctor not the internet for accurate information on the treatment of malaria that will suit you.  What suits someone else may not be relevant for yourself.
